Service Engineer / Fitter – Nottingham

About the role

Readypower Rail Services is seeking a motivated Service Engineer/Fitter to join its Midlands workshop. You will be responsible for maintaining, inspecting and upgrading the company’s rail plant fleet, ensuring all equipment remains fit for purpose.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake preventative maintenance tasks in line with equipment maintenance plans and service schedules.
• Carry out repair work and planned inspections, including modifications and upgrades of plant and machinery.
• Complete maintenance records accurately and promptly.
• Assist with general depot workshop maintenance activities.

Required profile

• Experience working with rail plant, agricultural or civil engineering plant equipment.
• Good understanding of English.
• Passionate, hardworking and driven attitude.
• Full, clean driving licence.
• Desirable: PTS / Sentinel card, Level 2 in Plant Repair and Maintenance or similar, Credited certification for LOLER.
