HR Business Partner & Payroll Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner who will also manage payroll for our delivery centre in Antananarivo. The role oversees the full employee lifecycle, ensures compliance with Madagascar labour law, and partners with business leaders to drive performance and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with operations leaders on workforce planning, performance management and employee engagement.
• Administer the end‑to‑end monthly payroll, validate attendance, overtime, incentives and coordinate with payroll vendors.
• Handle employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions, grievances, investigations and conflict resolution.
• Oversee onboarding, off‑boarding, maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Prepare HR reports, dashboards and workforce analytics for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with Madagascar labour regulations, statutory deductions and audit requirements.
• Support talent acquisition activities, interview coordination and workforce planning for expansion.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5–8 years of HR experience with a focus on payroll and employee relations.
• At least 2 years in an HR Business Partner or HR Manager role.
• Fluent French and English (minimum B1 level).
• Strong knowledge of Madagascar labour laws and payroll practices.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and conflict‑resolution abilities.

• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
