HR Business Partner & Payroll Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner & Payroll Manager to lead the Human Resources function for our delivery centre in Antananarivo, Madagascar. The role combines strategic HR partnering with end‑to‑end payroll administration, ensuring compliance with local labour laws while supporting business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business and operations leaders on workforce planning, performance management and employee engagement.
• Own the monthly payroll cycle: validate attendance, overtime, incentives and coordinate with payroll vendors and finance.
• Handle employee relations, including disciplinary actions, grievances, investigations and conflict resolution.
• Oversee onboarding and off‑boarding, maintain accurate employee records and produce HR dashboards.
• Ensure compliance with Madagascar labour regulations, manage statutory filings and support internal audits.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on hiring, interview coordination and workforce planning for expansion.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5–8 years of HR experience with a focus on payroll and employee relations.
• At least 2 years in an HR Business Partner or HR Manager role.
• Fluent in French and English (minimum B1 level).
• Strong knowledge of Madagascar labour laws and payroll practices.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• High integrity in handling confidential information.
