Junior Non-Key Expert – Digital Connectivity for Agriculture & Education

About the role

NTU International is seeking three Junior Non‑Key Experts to support the PRIDA II digital connectivity study for agriculture and education across the African Union. The role involves remote and on‑site work from the AU Commission in Addis Ababa, delivering analyses that will inform policy and financing strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Assess bandwidth availability, quality, cost and adoption for rural agriculture and education in all AU regions.
• Evaluate technical, economic and regulatory feasibility of alternative connectivity solutions for underserved areas.
• Review and develop sustainable financing and service‑delivery models, including pricing and discount‑rate methodologies with sensitivity analysis.
• Design policy and implementation strategies to promote sustainable digital connectivity, aligning with AU and national frameworks.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Communications/Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science/ICT/IT, Economics or Law.
• Minimum three years of experience in connectivity market development in developing or emerging economies.
• Demonstrated ability to produce analytical reports and policy recommendations.
