About the role
The Security Operations Support Officer will assist the Head of Security in managing day‑to‑day security operations at the WFP office in Ambovombe, Madagascar. The role ensures that security measures enable the safe delivery of food assistance programmes and protect WFP personnel, assets, and facilities.
Key responsibilities
- Support the management of daily security operations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Contribute to security and safety contingency and continuity planning for the office.
- Assist in standardising and implementing security plans across WFP facilities in the country.
- Ensure emergency systems are regularly tested and functional.
