Storekeeper (SC4) – Multiple Locations

About the role

The World Food Programme is seeking experienced Storekeepers (SC4) to support its warehouse operations across multiple duty stations. Working under minimal supervision, you will ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of humanitarian supplies that are critical to emergency response and development programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and record incoming shipments against transport letters, delivery notes and other official documents.
• Prepare, pack and dispatch outgoing consignments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage internal transshipment between trucks and storage areas.
• Maintain orderly warehouse layout, stock records and inventory control systems.
• Supervise and train junior warehouse staff as needed.
• Report discrepancies, damages or shortages to the Warehouse Management team.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation.
• Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with logistics and field teams.
