Compliance Analyst

About the role

The Compliance Analyst ensures that the organization meets all regulatory, internal policy, and ethical standards while actively identifying and mitigating compliance and AML/KYC risks across its operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor changes in banking, financial, and regulatory frameworks and assess their impact on operations.
• Update internal compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines in line with evolving legal requirements.
• Perform KYC reviews, customer due diligence, and enhanced due diligence for high‑risk profiles.
• Screen transactions, detect suspicious activities, and assist in reporting to relevant regulatory authorities.
• Conduct periodic compliance reviews and internal controls to ensure adherence to established procedures.
• Support the compliance team in delivering awareness training and guidance to operational staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Finance, Compliance, or Audit.
• At least 3 years of experience in internal compliance, audit, or legal roles within a regulated financial institution, bank, or auditing firm.
• Fluent in French and professional working proficiency in English.

• Strong mastery of regulatory frameworks, AML/CFT standards, and risk management principles.
• Excellent analytical mindset, high rigor, attention to detail, and a strong sense of confidentiality.
• Ability to manage sensitive situations, investigate anomalies, and communicate findings clearly.
