Corporate & Institutional Banking Officer

About the role

The Corporate & Institutional Banking Officer will manage and expand relationships with corporate and institutional clients, delivering tailored banking and financial solutions while mitigating risk and driving portfolio growth.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with corporate clients, institutions and key stakeholders.
• Identify client financial needs and cross‑sell banking products, credit facilities, cash management services and digital solutions.
• Evaluate the financial health, creditworthiness and risk profile of prospective and existing corporate clients.
• Prepare credit proposals, structure financing transactions and monitor loan portfolios to ensure compliance with risk policies.
• Coordinate with risk management, legal, compliance and back‑office teams to ensure seamless deal execution.
• Monitor market trends and competitor offerings to seize new business opportunities in the institutional sector.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management, Finance, Business, Economics or Banking.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in corporate finance, relationship management or institutional banking.
• Fluent in French and professional working proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Strong expertise in financial statement analysis, credit structuring and corporate banking products.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills with a strong commercial acumen.
• Rigor, analytical mindset and ability to manage complex transactions under tight deadlines.
