IT Operations Assistant – Field Offices in Madagascar

About the role

The World Food Programme is seeking four IT Operations Assistants to support its field offices in Ambovombe, Ampanihy, Fort‑Dauphin and Tuléar, Madagascar. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality technical support and maintaining systems and data to ensure uninterrupted IT services for humanitarian operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform system maintenance tasks, including monitoring, diagnostics and optimization.
• Maintain hardware and software assets, conduct standard repairs, configure equipment and manage storage solutions.
• Support day‑to‑day IT operations across multiple field locations.
• Collaborate with the Head of each Field Office to address technical issues promptly.

Required profile

• Ability to deliver technical support and system maintenance in a field environment.
• Willingness to work onsite at designated field offices in Madagascar.
