Recruitment Officer

About the role

Onja is looking for a Recruitment Officer to join its dedicated recruitment team in Toamasina, Madagascar. You will help select and onboard under‑privileged youth for a 2‑3 year software development training program, ensuring a smooth, transparent, and impactful recruitment process.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and improve recruitment tools, interview guides, exams, and camp activities.
• Design and implement recruitment strategies in collaboration with the Recruitment Manager and Lead.
• Participate in every recruitment stage: initial contact, phone interviews, house visits, aptitude exams, and selection camps.
• Coordinate with DREN, Cisco, and school headmasters to organise aptitude exams.
• Handle logistics before and during each recruitment phase.
• Administer aptitude exams, lead camp activities, and oversee candidate selection.
• Organise test correction and interview analysis securely with the analyst.
• Support hiring of additional recruitment team members (troubleshooter, assistant, cook, psychologist).
• Ensure efficient data collection and management throughout the process.
