Speech Specialist

About the role

Onja trains underprivileged youth into software developers through a two-and-a-half-year programme, and is looking for a Speech Specialist in Toamasina, Madagascar. The specialist ensures students acquire the RP accent, an essential skill for their professional success, with two main tasks: course preparation and one-on-one interaction with students.

Key responsibilities

• With the team, design, build and improve the speech course, including the syllabus, progress tracking and assessment systems
• Produce the materials needed to deliver the course, mainly videos, audios, books and flashcards
• Assess students' speech regularly to give feedback and recommendations and to track their progress
• Track students' progress in speech performance efficiently
• Help current developers with their speech by leading training sessions and ensuring regular assessments and feedback

Required profile
